What's up with the Italians?

Funny thing is that I work in the automotive industry (I'm a 3d modeler), worked on some Ferrari too, among others, but I could never stand sportscars (or should I say "the typical image of the typical sportscars owner")
I don't think there is and english word for "cafone" but that's what comes in mind to me when I think of Ferrari, Lamborghini, and so on

The type who drive them here are usually nouveau riche tech start-up guys. Although they're gravitating towards Tesla.

<---- That bass over there is an early 2000s Jim Reed BE5. Well made, affordable. When I bought it, their website had stars and stripes dotted around but I was happy to buy Italian. Back when US imports were super-expensive in the 60s, European electric instruments were different but had charm. My bass is just straightforward quality (and some fancy timbers, but that was incidental to my purchase)
Don't forget Italian Futurist Luigi Russolo and his Experimental instruments " intonarumori " way before electricity
I adhere to the celebration of beauty manifested in multiple ways through this thread. Another would be to check “Va pensiero” by Verdi. Is too much beauty, like Sophia in that earlier post, so much that sometimes is overwhelming.

I'm first US born.
Family in Rome and Iscernia.
As a generalization, Italians can get really passionate about music, art, women, etc.
We can also get crazy mean, depressed, etc.
Two things I enjoy most; playing bass and auto / motorcycle racing.
I'm never surprised by how many Italians are into the same.
A lot of record producers too.
As my former wife used to say; the last name ends in a vowel; they have to be Italian.
