There's nothing wrong with teenagers that time doesn't cure.
About two of your lifetimes ago, teenagers were still acting that dumb, even if they weren't actually dumb, and dudes were still oblivious to invitations to flirt.

Well, through no real fault of their own, they're generally spoilt, poorly educated, have a short attention span due to over stimulation and have often been inadequately brought up by parents with precious little moral or intellectual authority.
Other than that, they're fine.
To that, let me add:

I am by no means spoilt and one of the most respected things in this house and in society is education, and there is no way i have a short attention span when i spend most of my time on the computer investigating stuff that interests me.. =(

But really. Girls will try that (coming from one hopless teen to another) and either you go along or ingore it. Or it makes no sense what so ever, and in that case ingore it.
Now if a girl is hitting on you and she knows you have a girlfriend and all she does is ask about her. Well' lets just hope that doesn't happen to you me friend.
I was practicing with this guitar player in our church's youth room the other day and was messing around and started playing Master Of Puppets, when this girl walked in, listened to me play and then said "I can text faster than you can play."I kid you not. What the freak kind of thing to say is that? (By the way, i'm a teenager, but i have common sense not to say things that stupid)
