Alembics (x4): $16,130

'73 Fender Jazz: $1500
'94 Fender Jazz (MIJ): $300 (tops)
'05 Fender Jazz Deluxe, USA : $1100
'74 Gibson Ripper: $600 (being totally refinished, and it's stock otherwise)
'87 Gibson Thunderbird: It's mint, and worth about $900
'77 Gibson RD77 Artist: $950
'79 MusicMan Stingray: paid $1350; had neck refinished and refretted, otherwise stock. Maybe $1300.
'76 Rickenbacker 4001: Completely stock, no modifications, excellent conditions with very few nicks/scrapes - paid $650 in '94, maybe worth $1K now
'77 Rickenbacker 4001: In pieces at the moment, awaiting total rebuild; paid $500 for it.
'03 Ovation Acoustic Electric (bought in Korea): Lucky if I got $200-300 for it, but it was cheap and available.
Godin A4: $550
Musicman Bongo: $850

'03 Ampeg SVT-IV Pro - try replacing one for less than $1300 new
Alembic SF-2 Superfilter: Even used ones are at least $300
Furman AR-1215 voltage regulator: bought new, $400.

Amps/Rack: $3K plus.

Overall (not counting strings, picks, effects, cables, rackmount cases, etc.) at least $32K, given inflation and most of my instruments are of vintage age.

My total is what I payed for everything. $7100 is the actual list price total. If you take into account the fact that I don't have a car and I've had a well-paying summer job for the past three summers (plus gig money), I guess I didn't do too bad. Of course, not until now did I realize how much money I've spent on gear! I'm insane! :help: It's a good thing I'm going to be pursuing this as a career!
 
During the next month or so my overal amount of money spent on bass stuff is going to just about double, due to edition of new amp and new bass. (if i get it soon).

Are we supposed to count the stuff we sell? Im selling about $1000 worth of stuff to buy my new stuff.
