I think so:

1- Warwick RB Corvettex Basic 4 (Still have - Was great until I destroyed the truss nut. Replaced neck.)
2- Yamaha TRBX 304 (Fantastic bass. Regret selling it)
3- Squier VM Jazz 5 (Decent bass, but didn't like the neck)
4- Squier CV 70's Precision (Still have - One of my favorites, to this day)
5- Spector Legend 5 (Horrible example of a Spector, but I'm pretty sure the issue was that particular instrument)
6- G&L Tribute L2500 (LOVED the bass, but didn't use the B. Couldn't adjust to 5-string)
7- SBMM Ray34 (Gigged it exclusively for a while. Very nice bass, but unfortunately had to sell it when the pandemic hit)
8- Warwick Streamer LX4 (Still have - Most responsive bass I've owned. Great for gigging with)
9- Fender Player Jazz (Still have - Sometimes difficult to EQ, but a really good instrument)

Pretty sure that's all of em.
Planning to add another one pretty soon, but still doing my research.

1. Samick Phantom P-bass knockoff - black (1986-1992)
2. SGC Nanyo Bass Collection SB301 - sparkly purple (1992-1996)
3. MCI Intertek fretless P/J (1996-97, 1998-1999, 1999(two weeks later)-present)
4. Dean Edge 5-string - red transparent (1997-1999)
5. Korean-built Fender Jazz - black w/white pickguard (1999)
6. 1980 Ibanez Studio 8-string (1999-2003)
7. 1986 Pedulla MVP - black (1999-2006)
8. Breedlove Atlas Fretless (2004-present)
9. Fender Jazz-24 - tobacco sunburst (2005-2007)
10. Birdsong Fusion prototype - walnut (2006-present)
11. Birdsong Custom fretless - walnut/ebony/purpleheart (2007-present)
12. Birdsong "Richard the Test Bass" (shop test prototype) - poplar (2014-present)
13. Birdsong Fusion custom - mesquite body/delano Xtender pickup (2015-present)
14. Birdsong Fusion custom - mesquite/walnut body, p-bass pickup (2020-present)

Somewhere in there was the Ibanez Mikro I bought my daughter as a Christmas present. She didn't play it and I ended up selling it to my old lead guitarist.

Fun (self-indulgent) exercise, seeing if I could get the years and details right. Thanks for the thread!

1 Satellite Jazz Bass copy bought new in 1979 - I still have this
2 1976 Fender Jazz Bass
3 1979 Aria SB1000 - I still have this
4 1985 Wal Pro Fretless - I still have this

6 2003 Gibson Thunderbird

Since I started playing bass in 1981:
1. Ibanez Musician - blond
2. G&L L-1000 - tobacco sunburst
3. Kramer Duke
4. John Hawk custom - koa. Sold to get my Tobias. Dang I'd love to find that bass again.
5. Tobias Bassic 5, red quilted maple- bought from Mike in his Cahuenga Blvd shop. Sold when I had a kid. Dang, I'd love to find that bass again, too.
6. Yamaha BBG-5
7. Michael Kelly Dragonfly 5 fretless
8. Tobias Classic (alder/walnut)

Okay, i think this is it, but I thought that about 12 entries ago. im sure theres something i'm forgetting. this list took me a while to put together.

And, i've got on order another 33" scale 6 string clifford roi, to replace the purpleheart one that had a broken truss rod, as well as a travel upright "contrabassetto" by andrea spada.

the craziest part of this list is what i miss the most. the best sounding ones are not the ones i have the fondest memories of. I recorded a bunch of records and play some really wild gigs on the purple 6 string carvin, I wish i could locate that one.

Also the ristola cherry bass I sold and missed, and was lucky enough to catch it again for sale years later. it's my #1 player right now, too.

Popular topic!! I'm late to the party, but;

Uhhhh, no.
sadder.gif

Uh, no. I kept a list for a while--35 years or so?--and it has about 80 basses on it, but I let it lapse the last few years. There are many exceptional instruments that stand out in my memory, but I'm sure there are others that have slipped my mind.

Almost none of them got names.

Yup to the original question! Simpson-Sears (went MIA at my girlfriend's place - blaming her brother), El Degas (Pbass-like - lasted 6 months before the neck warped), the Rick!, good friend lent me an Onyx bass as my back-up bass replaced by - Yamaha BB300, Kramer Spector NS-2, Yamaha BBG5S and SBMM Ray25CA. The Rick and the last four are my collection.
