What's your favorite analog phaser?

Just listened to a demo. It might be the 4-stage phaser I've been looking for.
the "Q" control to select the frequency range and the volume control are essential for bass. too bad more pedal makers don't offer them.
Catching up on my TB threads.....
I currently use a Glou Glou Rendezvous which is amazing - super quiet and so many easy to dial options. Very pricey and big, but wow awesome.
Also will never part with my original early 80's MXR Phase 100.
Very interested in the Spaceman Explorer. Not that i need another phaser...but Spaceman gear really is special

just picked up a V1 for cheap. i like it more than the first time i had it when they first came out, mostly because i understand it better. going to have it modded to add a master volume capable of a nice boost.
MXR Phase 100. Prefer it to 90 and Grand Orbiter I had. I can make it subtle or full out phasery goodness. Orbiter was too dark in the mix for me. 100 works fantastic in the mix.
Oh, well in that case, the MXR Phase 95 is definitely one of my favorite analog phase shifters! Certainly in my top 5.

Speaking of 1975...
If you ever get your hands on a Univox PHZ-1 (which was also available rebadged as a Monocor PZ-100) check it out. They can be a bit noisy, and they're ridiculously oversized considering the original MXR Phase 90 was already a thing then, but my god the thickness and depth of this swirl-factory was incredible! I remember doing a side-by-side shootout in a recording studio in 1977 between the PHZ-1 and a Phase 90, and the engineer was so blown away he offered to trade us a week of free studio time if we would give him our Univox!

I just love phasers , this is my new favorite

Moogerfooger 12 Stage, HBE Psilocybe, EHX Bad Stone, EHX Small Stone, DOD 201 Phasor. In roughly that order.
Would love to try the Wombtone and A/DA Final Phase.

to start the topic again i love phaser on bass. I am in a jam band so for improv sections its great for creating space and changing things up. Anyone ever try the seymour duncan polaron? the one with the envelope filter or that also goes with it?

i own quite a few phasers and my favorite sounding one is the first phase shifter ever made (AFAIK), the Maestro PS1.
unfortunately, the originals were designed for keyboards (line level input only) so i made a clone of one with an input buffer and an output booster in a much smaller enclosure:

That sounds great!
The Heptode Virtuoso and MojoHand Mr.-O are also clones of the Maestro. The Mojo Hand is really great and it is more flexible than the original, since it has pots to control Speed, Depth and Color (regeneration).
I have not tried the Heptode.

yeah. the heptode is the only one that really uses the original circuit. the cool thing about the three speeds is that it ramps up and down which you switch them.
the Mister O looks nice. i may have to get one to see if it sounds like the original circuit.
