I actually replaced it with an EQD Grand Orbiter v3.MXR Script Phase 90. I think it is an older one of those.
The 90 and orbiter are on my lists to try. What did you like about the orbiter that kicked the 90?I actually replaced it with an EQD Grand Orbiter v3.
No volume drop, and more control for different sounds, although rn it’s dialed in a lot like a 90, albeit with more resonance. There is no output level knob, but the resonance level provides a little control on net volume. The 90 and orbiter are on my lists to try. What did you like about the orbiter that kicked the 90?
You should look up @smeet 6 phaser shootout: A quick 6-phaser shootout a blind Phaser test on this forum. You’d be surprised which phaser was generally regarded as the clear winner from a pure audio point of view.I've been bit by the phaser bug and would like to stay analog. What's your favorite at the moment? Thanks!
Greenhouse Effects Sonic Orb. A/Bed it agains a heap of phasers last weekend and it won by a mile
your opinion.I'm also saying that dictating "analogue" only is a non sensical and naïve requirement. It's as logical as saying "I only want Phasers that painted blue". In 2020 the whole Analogue vs Digital debate from an audio point of view is a well documented dead and buried argument. Good digital is as good if not better than good analogue. Any other opinion to this is speculation, prejudice or simple bias.
Tough to argue this. I generally prefer analog but, got a Southampton Utility Knife and damn do all of the effects in that tiny box sound good!well, IMO, the Mojohandfx Mister O phaser (digital emulation) sounds pretty much identical to my vintage PS1-A Maestro (100% analog), so there's that.
