What's your favorite drum solo?

Ringo. End of Side 2 of Abbey Road. Like it all, not complicated, exactly perfect.



would have to check, but I'm actually pretty sure it was Sir Paul doing the drums on most of Abbey Road... as the band was not getting on well during recording and Paul ended up playing most of the parts on that record... I could be wrong, but I'm 90% sure...

We have a winner, well at least for kid in 8th grade at the Minneapolis Armory in 1968, in about the 5th row surrounded by Hells Angels. A total rush.


That's exactly what first came to my mind as well. Rippin. That whole song is awesome. You'd think. 17 min long song would get boring. But this song never got boring to me. Epic.

I also am a huge fan of bill ward from sabbath. He's not really known for his solos, but he is the master of tasteful and effective filling imo.
