Just today I booked a solo gig at a local winery, a duo gig in the same place, and a private dance gig for my five piece country band. If I could have only booked something for my country trio I'd have made a grand slam! ;-)

We generally play private parties, so a lot of backyard decks, a couple have been block parties where the event organizer empties his driveway and we set up there. A couple have been "Barn parties". We've played one gig where we were using a provided lowboy trailer as a stage...
We are a drummerless trio. Classic / Southern Rock and Country. 2 guitars and bass, Lead guitarist doing lead vocals, the rest of us are doing backing vocals.
Percussions is via software synth on the laptop.
We aren't making a killing doing this, but we are having fun. It would be nice however to get to the point where this pays for itself...
