I've got a DTR-1000 in my rack.
Yeah. 1U. I'm satisfied with mine, but I honestly don't demand much from it.Is the DTR-1000 a 1U rack space tuner? Im quite interested in picking one up for my rack. Would you recommend it?

It's been so long since I've had mine outside the rack that I can't say. I don't recall it being excessively heavy though.I wonder what the weight of, say, even a half-rack tuner is compared to the weight of a PitchBlack or Turbo Tuner.

If I was running more effects than it would be fine but to run 2 cords just for a tuner wouldn't make sense for me.
I totally understand your reasoning, but a pedaltuner and a cable is cheaper than a racktuner. To look at it a different way.
...but I can't use it because the constantly zipping strobe is distracting and looks dumb...
