Being totally mercenary, and a bit spamalicious, I'd say buy mine. :)

But based on these you have listed I can say the one I know the most about is the Douglas. Based on Rondo's customer service, and the other instruments that they have offered, that's the one I'd go with, as the Johnson's I've played have been very under-whelming, save their violin bass. It was pretty good.

I don't know much about the Copley so I can't comment.

For that kind of money you could do a G&L L2500 Tribute brand new. Or a used US made L2500 for that matter. I know you were asking about three particular instruments but either of the G&L's would be more versatile than the three you mentioned (and higher quality too).

Schecter would be worth looking at. And if you are willing to buy used you have a whole lot of great options.

I think the Copley's go for about $650 new. Don't know any who's got one. Douglas would be the easiest investment.
I see the common theme is a jazz/humbucker combo
with active eq amongst the 3 of these.
There's a barely used Carvin bb75 in the classified's that would probably be way better than any of these.

Yeah your sharp. I actually wanted to get a lakland skyline 55-02. But I don't have that cash. So I'm opt for something less exp. Something more easy to upgrade. The Carvin your talking about, I can't find any used ones in TB.

I don't know much about any of those three, though between them I'd choose the douglas.

However, if you have a thousand dollars to spare (or around six hundred at least), I'd get either a Yamaha TRB fiver or an Ibanez SR505.
