Which wireless? (Shure/Line 6/Boss)

Been using Senn D1 for about 2 yrs now... moved there after much research from a G90.

+1 on Sennheiser. And if you're playing small to medium clubs/bars get the XSW-D Instrument set.

The Instrument Base set. It operates up to 250 feet and 5 hours of play time. Its transparent as well (doesn't color your tone) and doesn't experience any dropouts or perceived latency. If you need a tuner then the Pedalboard set would be a good choice.

As for me, I prefer "AA" Battery Type for transmitter. You can buy AA batteries anywhere, or use rechargeable ones. And I hate special connectors. I put the original Line 6 cable away and made a new longer one with neutrik angled jacks.

Line 6 G50 user here. Average 40-60 gigs/year with a couple bands and setups. One time I had an issue due to to being too close to the sound guys intimidating RF setup. A guitar player in band 2 has had issues but nothing major. Bottom line - G50 and up, as well as GLXD and up - you have no worries. If I could choose right now? Shure - because of the built in tuner. Both are good gear. No exp with the Boss. But historically Boss has been Meh across the line. So... Shure or L6......

I have 2 other band mates that are using L6 pedalboard mounted wireless units.. G50's (?) I believe - I don't pay much attention to them
But.. with 3 devices on 2.4G on stage, the auto-sensing channel operation of the Senn D1 has not EVER had an issue with dropouts or interference.
Yes, I've had the xmitter battery die mid-song... but that's user error, not equipment malfunction!

Probably a Shure GLDX-16 is better but it's more than 2x the price, much bigger and with proprietary cable (I need right angle cable).

Why do you think Shure is better?

I have gigged the Shure GLDX-16 for a couple of years now; probably 75 shows or more and it has been excellent and reliable.

I power the tuner/receiver with a battery power pack as I don't run any other pedals. Easy, reliable and I don't need to plug it in. My power pack lasts about 6 hours, the transmitter lasts at least that long but I have never tried to go longer with it.

i really like my relay G75 but the shure GLXD-16 is quickly becoming a bar band industry standard from what i can tell. (also i've been told the relay G70/75 is discontinued, still not clear if that's true)

the G50 is decent but dated, not nearly as powerful as the GLXD. the rest are mostly just toys.
