White Verdine White Signature Sadowsky

This white bass is beautiful in its simplicity. Verdine White Signature basses

maybe the best looking Sadowsky's in my opinion.

Ah, isn't love a mystery. Like beautiful women when I was young, I can still fall in love with more than one bass.

That simple white, chrome, no pick guard is a beauty!

I certainly prefer JJ for slap, but Verdine has never been a slapper. PJ is great for fingers and pick. I love the satin finish and sold colors of the Verdine White Signatures.

Nice. I prefer pickguards on jazz style basses, but looks good without it too. Besides, I'm sure Sadowsky could retro fit it with a guard if requested.

The body is the smaller jazz style used on most Sadowsky Js (their regular PJs, from what I understand, are full size bodies).

I don't know of any other significant differences.

Part of the proceeds go to Verdine White's nonprofit center in LA.

Here's my puppy. I got two Sadowsky basses, this is my gigging one.
My first thought when I played a Sadowsky for the first time, was:

I pulled the trigger on one of these last week, in part because they're going away. I have a satin JJ and love it. The lower weight of the Sadowsky has really helped with a neck problem.
I also prefer pick guards and old school control plates. This one matches my J

They will be made in Germany or China (or both?), but the satin line as we know it from NYC is ending.
