White Verdine White Signature Sadowsky

BTW, my Verdine White Deluxe. Love it, especially with Sadowsky Blue Label Flats.

The Sadowsky satin series are great looking basses. I'd take any of them! Still not sold on this Warwick venture, especially seeing those cheesy Metro Express headstocks... But, you can't argue with a sub-$1k Sadowsky, I hope the quality stays high.

The body is the smaller jazz style used on most Sadowsky Js (their regular PJs, from what I understand, are full size bodies).

I don't know of any other significant differences.
Part of the proceeds go to Verdine White's nonprofit center in LA.

Au contraire. I believe all the NYC P/J's that have jazz bodies (as opposed to P-bass bodies) are all the smaller Jazz body.

Here's mine. It's a 2006:

That's gorgeous!!

They also make full size bodies like this current PJ listing w 20 frets:

The VW has been defined (at least so far) by the smaller jazz body plus PJ. And the lower price point via the satin series. Not sure what differences (if any) are on tap with the new Warwick line

I don't know exactly what they spec'd to make the VW just for him (I suspect a very slight tweak here and there), and hat's off for their contributions to his charity. VW has flirted with Ibanez (you actually see some pearl white Ibanez VW Sigs on eBay from time to time), and like with Leland Sklar, Yamaha went round and round for more that a few years, yielding no fielded product.

And honestly, who WOULDN'T want to sell a bass they made endorsed by Verdine White ?

Thanks.

You are right. They do make full-sized Jazzes now. Who knew? Haha, probably but everyone but me...

That is something that must have started in the last few years. When I ordered mine, it was smaller Jazz bodies only.
Must admit I like the smaller body.

Is that what Sadowsky used to call "ultra vintage."

I'm a fan of the smaller body as well. Very much so.
