Not exactly twins, as they were born 46 years apart from each other. ;-)
The bass on the right is my all time favorite, the 1969 Gibson Les Paul Bass.
The one on the left was built by myself, with Gibson guitar pickups and circuitry that I scored off Ebay.

I have two sets of twins. When I bought my first 5 string I wanted it to match my '79. Then I bought a white four string. Fender does not offer this color combo, so I bought two basses and switched out the parts. The one in the middle is the red headed stepchild (leftover parts).
Thought I was done having kids...until one night this happened...
No pics at the moment but I have a fretted and fretless bright red Fernandes FRB-40. The fretless is actually in the classifieds right now but I may just keep it.
They're not identical twins . . . The one with 60's spacing has rounds, and the one with 70's has flats. Both now have Gotoh lollipops:

I try to have as much diversity as I can within a (relatively) small number of instruments. So, no twins for me. My wfe is a twin, though - does that count for something?
This is too much here! Either some of you guys need to use protection, stop sleeping around or put a couple of those quadruplets up for adoption. And whats with the twins that came out with mutated fingers? Six of them on each twin I saw. too much..only on TB do we see this nuttiness..Great stuff!

Nearly identical... German-made fretless and fretted Corvette 5s.
I love matching sets. And I REALLY love P Basses with rosewood and tort.
