Yeah, black basses annoy me. I've seen a few good deals on some Warwicks that were black and had to turn them down. I know it's just an aesthetics thing, but black basses remind me too much of the nu-metal nonsense that came out last decade. I know that's silly, but I yam what I yam.

Normally, I find black basses a little boring. However, grabbed this little beauty a while back:

Ha, now that you put it that way I see those are exactly the reasons I don't want a black bass. Formal, sinister and serious are the last things I want to be on stage.Black is so formal and so sinister. Best color. Black means that you are not messing around when playing bass! Best color IMHO.
