Who's kicking off 2023 with new strings?

Negative. My 4003's Hellborgs have been on for probably 8 months, but still sound fine, and my 4005's strings only have about 50 hours on them.
I should put new strings on my acoustics, at least the steel-string ones (Martin and Yamamoto), except for the 12-string Yamamoto.
I've got a slightly lighter set to try with my weird tuning, and my old set is about a year old. Figured i would throw them on forNew Year, but I can't quite pull the trigger yet. Maybe another month.
I have four basses, but only one needed new strings. I ordered some Hofner black tape wounds for my club ignition. They were supposed arrive before the new year, but no such luck. So I did a tune up on my P, Music Man and Fender ABG. I feel like I accomplished something.
Alright, yeah. So I put new strings on my GWB205. It's so much better. That bass was built for new strings. D'Addario 165-5. I had not changed them in more than a year. I forgot how awesome a new B string sounds. Don't need no multiscale dingalong for that. 
The bass held up pretty well. I didn't have to tweak anything. Just put the strings on, stretch them a bit and I'm ready to play.

Not me. My nickels are only a few months old, I still have some properly broken in (~6 months) stainless in the closet and I just bought flats in 2016, so I'm set for a while!
They look an awfully lot like sit strings. But there's a couple stainless strings that look very similar. You'd have to measure the string from the ball end to the taper and give us a pic of the ball ends. We have some string nerds that are awesome string detectives.
Not my bass, but I got my baritone strat conversion was finished and picked it up NYE. A local guy who makes the necks by hand did it. I replaced my 25.5 neck with a 28.75 scale and tuned it half Nashville tuning -- strings 2 and 4 tuned an octave up. from 1 - 6: B-F#-^D-^A-E-B
String Joy also delivered me a custom set so I replaced my strings incidentally on Jan 1. 0135-18w-12-15-56w-72w.
Will change strings today for 2 basses.

I finished 2022 off with a short-lived string experiment on my newly assembled fretless J bass, and ultimately replaced those strings yesterday with a lightly used set of DR Nickel Lo Riders (40-100). The experiment was interesting but the Nickel Lo Riders are ultimately much better for me.
TI jazz flats are pretty awesome. They do not feel like high tension suspension bridge cables, last for years and sound great.
Bought a set of Thomastik Infeld JF344 's a couple of weeks ago . Last night , I put them on my 63 Jazz . Never tried them before , and was a bit apprehensive as i thought they might be kind of dead sounding , like the Rotosound flats I have on another Jazz . But man , they are great ! Lively and very clear sounding , even the E string . Very impressed . The feel is different , but gotta say , they feel real good to me .
It would be a good day to install new flats in order to get rid of some rounds. Then for the next 30 or 40 years, you don't have to touch them and can spend your New Year day doing some combination of practicing, drinking beer and watching football. How could it get better??
Not in general, but I am trying new strings on my co-number one bass. My 2007 SR5HH has had Chromes on it for about four years (IOW, they're just starting to hit the sweet spot 
) and before that it most often had DR nickel Lo Riders. But I just took a couple of basses to a the guitar guy I use to give them their occassional "check up" and pro set up and he's replacing the Chromes with a set of Elixir Nanowebs.
I bought a 2019 Stingray Special 5HH (my other co-number one) last spring and the previous owner had just put Nanowebs on it before I bought it. Since I never tried them before, I decided to leave them on and see what I thought of them over time. They're a little more flexible than I prefer but not so flexible that I can't adjust (for contrast, I did NOT like the extremely flexible feel of TI Jazz Flats at all), and I've been quite happy with the tone of that bass. So I decided to give the Nanowebs a try on my older Stingray and see what happens.
Should be an intersting test. I've had that set of flats on it for quite a while so they're well broken in. Also, the 2007 is noticeably more aggressive sounding than the 2019 so, even though the Nanowebs are a fairly warm sounding roundwound, I'm expecting a significant change in tone.
