Who's rocking two fifteens, no tweeters?

I'm considering getting a couple of compact Ashdown ABM 115 cabs, both for the sake of portability and my love of that driver. Specs say frequency only goes to about 4k.

I dig old school sound and play a four strings. Will this config sound like mud?

'80s Carvin 2x15 here- no tweeters, no mud. I never understood tweeters in a bass amp, myself.

Used to run an old Acoustic 2X15 cab loaded with EV's, no horn,....powered by an SVT,... I still miss that rig,...punch, low end, still crisp,headroom for DAYS.....was the rig of doom.

i just got a 70s Fender 2x15, and i put a GK 1x15 on top of that, none have tweeters, and it sounds amazing.

I have three Bag End s15-D's as well as an NV215 and there is plenty of clarity and top end (even with the mid driver on the NV turned off).

Same here. Just replace Carvin with Trace Elliot.

This is not a current pic as I have sold the QuatraValve and run my RAH350SMX now.
