I'd have to say Flea. Some of Claypool's songs are just flat out ridiculously difficult, but he doesn't have the funk Flea has. Also, Blackeyed Blond is my favorite slap riff ever.

Very hard to compare. However, as a straight answer to a straight question, Flea is pretty damn good, but I'm sorry, he ain't on the same planet as Claypool.

Technically? Claypool. Musically? Flea. His groove is much better than Claypool's.
