Since when does Les Claypool even make music? I thought all those albums were just him fornicating with his bass with some kind of band behind him.
I'd have to say Flea. Some of Claypool's songs are just flat out ridiculously difficult, but he doesn't have the funk Flea has. Also, Blackeyed Blond is my favorite slap riff ever.
Alex Sklarevski is a mad man and has a "look" that neither Flea nor Les could touch. LOL

Seriously, there is no comparison between the two. They're both great and have different styles/approaches. That's why we like them. =)
No, but I'm going to look now. The first time I saw one of his instructional videos I just laughed and laughed because he is so dang funky, yet sports a complete 80's mullet and coke bottle glasses.Anyone else catch the subliminal image at the end of this video?!
