Who's the Bigger Nerd?

Seriously, there's a haven for all of us? In this thread?

Hello, my name is Bobby, and I'm a:
-bass nerd: obviously
-computer nerd: I get fascinated by how electronics work
-MMO RPG nerd: Phantasy Star Online pwns me
-car nerd: My turbo AWD Eclipse can attest to this
-classical/jazz nerd: I play upright, in orchestra...I'm a DB performance major.

Most of us are "nerdy" in some way or another. I once played a gig of nothing but Devo songs while wearing a Boba Fett helmet, a Pee Wee Herman suit with a red bow-tie, and playing an Epiphone Explorer bass.

I was going to say that everyone in the OP has equal amounts of nerdiness resulting in a 3 way tie. But I think I might be just a bit nerdier for taking the time to analyze it and post this. :help:

Just so everyone is on the same page here is a picture of an actual bass nerd:

Almost, He is wearing his bass far too low to achieve perfect nerdom...

my friend, you could have worn a beanie with a propellor, glasses with a piece of tape holding them together, and suspenders, and you would have been the coolest guy on earth playing devo songs!

I am proud to be a nerd.

How nerdy? I love Rush. Not only because of Geddy's awesome playing. But the fact that most of their songs are references to Ayn Rand's work I have actually highlighted passages of "Anthem", "The Fountainhead", and "Atlas Shrugged" and cross referenced them with Rush's lyrics.
That is how nerdy I am.

wow, that's pretty nerdy. the only way you could be any nerdier is to refer to them by their internet nicknames.

Hey, what's wrong with nerds? Robert Fripp is a total nerd, just look at any picture of him.
And then look where he ended up... the only constant member of King Crimson (a band whose first bassist was Greg Lake who is, by the way, cool).

It's a healthy part of marriage to find nerdy quirks about the spouse and to pick on them about it. I kinda like the attention... Means she is paying attention to what I'm doing and cares enough to comment on it. I take it as a playful gesture.

That's a beautiful thing. Picking on and teasing is way better than complaining or "bitching" about what you are doing. She's a keeper. Hell, my fiancee doesn't mind when I play WoW(don't judge me). She evens listens to when I rant and rave about **** in the game she has no idea about. Although, she really digs the music stuff though and can't wait to hear my new band in practice, so that's another plus.

*cough cough*
