I never understood why Denver was so eager to get rid of Plummer. Playoffs every season isn't good enough for you? Or was it just a "he's not Elway" thing?
As to the stats thing: the only thing that mroe games gets you, in terms of passer rating, is better sample size. With the larger sample size you can assume that outliers will begin to cancel each other out and you will arrive at a more accurate rating.
