Why do I continue to read and listen to TalkBass

Very True. Very True. But I would welcome Jeff Berlin. A fantastic Player. Good to talk to also. I think he has a really good grasp on things. Its all about the playing. 24/7.

Every time I check in on this site I learn something useful, get a good laugh or get to gawk at another beautiful bass someone has just picked up. I ignore the cranks and get most of the nasty barbs. Bass players are some innarestin mofo's, that's for sure.

Yeah, for some of us, it's like a karmic info exchange. I like to think that as I dole out my pablum to someone who didn't know any better, someone is doling out their pablum to me and saving me a lot of time and effort in the process.

But you have to check your facts before you open your wallet. This site doesn't change that.

And I need to avoid OT. Some seriously nasty people hang out over there. My "ignore" list is starting to look like the white pages.

I keep coming to TB to buy/sell/trade gear with a bunch of trustworthy people. People have tried to rip me off on other sites, but never on TB. That alone gives me faith in humanity.

I also keep coming to TB because the OT forum is better than watching professional wrestling.

You didn't know squat when you started and over years of time you searched for your answers grasshopper. But now you have reached the summit of your mountian... You would do well to stay humble and remember that there are higher mountians to summit that will take advanced climbing methods and techniques, should you choose. You have come far grasshopper. May you climb yet the highest summits... and try not to fall off on you arse... lmao Hey, all that stuff you learned.... time to pass it on.

(Man the dude spends all that time learning all about bass. Now he knows his fair share and instead of enjoying it...he's bummed.... what a waste of time eh? Punch out you waste of time.)

That was good. I have not really reached anything except where Im at and I got alot more to go. But your right about the break. We all need that. Maybe thats why God made day seven.

Ain't exactly like the clown, but it's really funky at that tempo=60 . and that's a good speed to learn that double thumb thingy with the index and middle finger pop. the clown riff has got a para diddle flavor to it....I really, really like it. Hey thanks for turning me on to this... Latter, I got a mountain to climb lol, I'll catch up with ya.
