No guys seriously .. boil broccoli, then get rid of excess water and put them in a pan with garlic, pork belly, salt and a little olive oil ... cook them at medium fire like that for 15 minutes and eat them with cheese, ham and bread or piadina (the latter is unfortunately unfindable outside of Romagna in Italy ... it's a sort of thicker pita bread well cooked ah ah ah) ... in this way broccoli can be great ! Learn how to eat well and healthy guys (aside from ham and piadina which requires pork fat ehm ...)
Love/Hate ebony. Love the way it feels and looks. Hate that it shrinks in a dry climate leaving fret sprout. I had a chance to buy a starry night bongo in boulder but it had terrible fret sprout so I passed. Maple fretboards are just as bad which caused me to sell a nice sterling 5 I had.
Try Lavazza Qualità Rossa in powder with a Bialetti Moka boiler ... let the aroma fill your house ... mmhhh ...The word "hate" has been given way too much power these days. And its new-found power has been abused by people with agendas (and, no, not just political ones).
"I hate coffee" 35 years ago simply meant that I didn't like the taste of coffee. Today, to a good percentage of the population, "I hate coffee" means that I hate, and wish death and destruction upon, all coffee drinkers and their friends and family and everything they stand for. Nothing would please me more than to persecute coffee drinkers. In fact, I sit with other coffee haters in smoke-filled "back rooms" plotting the destruction of all things coffee and everyone who is pro coffee.
OP just used the word "hate" to describe his dislike for ebony. Don't give that mkre power than it has.
By the way, coffee popped into my brain because I love it and am in desperate need of roughly a gallon of it as we speak. If this hotel has bad coffee, there may be violence.

We don't have those problems over here in the rainforest. Have you noticed it specifically with only those two woods?

Out of 50 stringed instruments in my current possession only 1 has an ebony fretboard.
It's on an Olympic white Low End Jazz with black hardware with no markers on the front and black as night. Looks, feels , plays, and sounds awesome . One of my favorite instruments.

I don't have the problem near as bad with pau ferro or rosewood. i live in Denver and the humidity can get quite dry in the winter.
broccoli is my foods food. my food eats broccoli. stop eating my foods food. also, broccoli gives off oxygen. why would you want to kill it??!! i can probably get you some meat based broccoli substitute if you want. you'll never be able to tell the difference

Although I will surely agree with, and understand, the sentiment you expressed.
Hmmmm.... I have owned many basses and I think that the only one that had ebony was an Ex Factor. I loved that neck. With acoustic, ebony is my favorite. My dread, Les Paul, and factor are all ebony. My other basses are rosewood fretless and phenolic. My gigging acoustics are graphite and my strat is maple. I guess fingerboard wood isn't a deal breaker for me. I never thought about that until I read this.
