The fact there's as much difference of opinion over the silverburst says loud and clear Epiphone blew it.

How could you possibly know that? Do you have access to their sales records?

It's no big deal for them to announce a new finish, make a few of them, see if they sell, and make more of them if they do. They won't end up with warehouses full of them if it doesn't go over. If you don't like the silverburst, don't buy one; sales or lack of them will determine if it is a success or not.

If there's black hardware on the silver then it's possible to have a blacked out casady.
They should make that.

After watching this video () I've acquired some serious GAS for a JC Bass in ebony! I've been looking for an EB-2/Rivoli style bass, but now that I've seen that video...I may have second thoughts! The tones Robert gets from his JC Bass is simply amazing! Black Rebel Motorcycle Club is one of the greatest bands in the world IMHO

About the Bass Master you linked above: so I recalled it right! It is definitely not a clone, in the bad sense!!! Peerless made but actually they still make the Casady!!!!

I've seen these on REVERB somewhat recently, but neither are like the one above and I am not too keen on the Cabbie Yellow Checkered look....

any thread for me is new, even if its been around...I've only been here for a week and others have jumped on me for responding to an old thread rather than actually respond to the subject matter of the thread and offer something of value.

Two of the most regular annoying replies on here are
"Zombie Thread" and "Use the search function, there are already threads about this!"
Totally incompatible with each other, and often used by the same people.
