Double Bass Why, YES!...

...Yesterday was my 70th Birthday, TB!
Thanks for asking. (sarcasm emoji here)
Now: You kids get/stay off my lawn, Burn your Real Books, and Stop calling the #9 a "b10"!
Sheesh.
Thx.
Happy Birthday!!!

I guess I beat you by 6 months, but my wife's 70th was Friday. So we're sympathetic.

Our problem, and I suspect yours too, is a lack of mental maturity to match our ages. We're still 35 in our minds, and we're having trouble adjusting.

True story: we go to Disneyland a lot, and just about every time while there, someone looks at us and says "I want to look just like you guys when I'm old". My wife and I have started replying, "But we're just 35!"

Oh well. Happy Birthday, and many more to come!

Happy Birthday, Don. Not to make it about me, but while being introduced to a group of students as a Guest Lecturer for a class, the Principal Instructor said "He's an old guy with a young mind". I think that's the secret...to keep thinking young (not immature) as we get older. From what I've seen here on TB, you fit that description, Don. Enjoy your birthday month.

On behalf of the electric side of TB, welcome to the club.

I see 2 J-shaped objects - the Black one is commonly known to be a Crutch, while I'm not sure what the second, the Silver one, is called...???
Any help?
Thanks.
