Dear Friends, it’s been long time since my last real post…
Attached one of my last bass ( wide body) in progress…. Hope you like the wild 200 years old olive top from Tuscany

Impressive design, beautiful woodwork. Any reason you made it so thick? Ergonomics might suffer a bit, are acoustic benefits going to be worth it?

My son-in-law has an orchard of 200 year old olive trees in Agrigento, Sicily, so I love the concept and the wood.

Definitely cool but I’d rather move the pickup a little bit towards the neck pocket .. you know, the good old sweet spot ..

That's quite a thick body bass. Like we're talking "dummy thicc" here. And as someone said, what's your reasoning behind such a thick-bodied bass? And how does it fit your ergonomics and playing style?

(When I think "wide" body I think something like a Surine: Surine Basses

This Bass will be a medium scale of 32 inches & a one single Low Z PU next to the bridge….. dedicated to a good friend of mine…

Hi many thanks, only the rout out( Neck pocket ; PU Pocket) are done with my CNC …all the rest is done by hand…

The chambering are only to reduce the overall weight of the bass body
