Impressive design, beautiful woodwork. Any reason you made it so thick? Ergonomics might suffer a bit, are acoustic benefits going to be worth it?

My son-in-law has an orchard of 200 year old olive trees in Agrigento, Sicily, so I love the concept and the wood.

Definitely cool but I’d rather move the pickup a little bit towards the neck pocket .. you know, the good old sweet spot ..
This Bass will be a medium scale of 32 inches & a one single Low Z PU next to the bridge….. dedicated to a good friend of mine…
