For me, I’d like to have individual string height adjustment. I solved the short distance between back of the bridge and saddle with some drilled out brass acorn nuts as spacers. Don’t like the aesthetics but it works for now. I was willing to pay for the HipShot but the online company suddenly jacked up the price 35%. Not sure. Like rewarding them for that move. The Babicz is available but at 50% more than I was originally looking at. There IS a limit I’m willing to pay. I mean can get a used Fender Studio 40 for the price of that Babicz.

Nothing on their site. But I saw a couple of HipShot the other day. Not gold though. Plus shipping to Japan.

i got interested in this because with the current $/¥ exchange rate I could get a good deal on this one site. But I wanted advice about my E string bc I didn’t want to save some money and then toss it all away when I had to buy new strings. I had the bridge in my basket but when I finally went back to buy it, it was gone and there was a 35% markup. My guess they know they have a ‘captive market’ here and they wanted to keep that profit for themselves.
