Winter Build Off 2022 - Get Ready

hey wait a minute,... speaking of being late, Australia gets to start a day ahead of time.
That's crap!
We'll have to adjust the specific start time for every time zone too.
Ah :D but referring back to the first post, and I quote:

Well, even if the buildoff did allow for starting and ending in local time Australia would also end a day ahead of time. Since I am always late I would want extra time at the end. Maybe I could move to Baker Island, but that's a bit desolate and I would need to learn to use hand tools.

On second thought...

I can't participate in this years WBO, but I do have a project. Putting some new strings on my Conklin GT5, and as I'm threading the B through, I hear an odd sound, but everything looks OK. I pick up the bass (it was on my desk with a small tube pillow under the volute) and part of the headstock fell off. Nothing was even up to tune fully yet.

Easy fix I know, just, <slang word deleted>! This bass has had the easiest life.

How about this: We each get our own category. Then everyone can win! :D (and also everyone will be last :rollno: )
Participation trophies for everyone! You're all winners! Woot!

You need to factor in the time to get another negative C19 test before we're allowed out of the house.

Holy Moly @A9X ! Have you got kids?

My friend's older brother relayed a story at his wedding about how they had stolen the family car when they were 12 and 13 years old and drove it onto an old lake pier they had found when fishing, and where it promptly fell through into the swamp. They walked back and never said a word. Family moved on thinking the car had been stolen...right up to the moment when the brother told the story. Judging by the looks on his parents' faces, every word must have been true.

I can only hope I've raised my own to be so devious. :D

Okay, after a bunch of online converters and translators, I figured out that my start time is 7pm, 12/21/21.
So that means everyone else has to start in Jan.

Had to stare at that date for ages with all those ones and twos before I worked out you guys write the date the wrong way round. So weird. I bet you eat a boiled egg from the fat end don't you.
