Winter build off 2022 MPUrker

I trimmed the edges and sanded the sides to 120 grit. There’s some eye-pleasing curves on the back side.

Then I measured a zillion times and drew the bridge outline to the top.

And started to make some eye-pleasing curves to the frond side as well. This one is going to be a curvy one instead of a flat blank.

Very clean work with the CF! With all the contours and the CF on the back, how are you going to do the control cavity, are you planning to rout through the CF?
Yes, I'm routing the cavity from the back. Normal router bits work fine with cf skin this thin. Control cavity area is pretty flat. I'm making a cf laminate cavity cover using back contours as mold if needed.

Tonight I made a caul for the fret press I bought earlier this week. Acrylic caul is held by the aluminium sides.

Then I flat sanded the two fill coats that had cured for a couple of days and brushed one more coat. I’m hoping to brush one coat later this evening and one more tomorrow morning. I hoped that the frets I ordered this week would have arrived today but no luck. Well, I have writing of one essay on World religions to finish so maybe it’s better I don’t have the frets.
