See, I've always stuck with the 'murican pronunciation of "puh-dowk".

As you wrote it, wouldn't it be "puh-dwak"? That makes us Canajuns sound even sillier than we usually do. :smug: On the other hand, the brits as usual can't pronounce their own language correctly as written.

Seriously, no matter how poorly you spell, it if has the letters au or ua, how do you get "p'dook"? :bag:

That's right, point out my dyslexia:cautious:! Or was it an intentional typo to elicit controversy:whistle:. However it's spelled it is pronounced puh-douk:thumbsup:.

So I popped home at lunch and checked out my test pieces of the super special secret finish and nope, virtually no grain filling at all. It's Osmo Polyx Oil in clear gloss. I've used the satin before, but was not previously able to get gloss. I've contacted them already about whether I could put it over an epoxy sealcoat and they confirmed it would work over most resins and that it makes a good "river table" finish. :) Despite that, I'm doing another test-piece with epoxy to make sure. ;)

Ritter definitely gets the award for highest dollar per weird factor. Their stuff is so weird. And so expensive. I don't know who is buying it, and part of me is afraid to find out. One of my local guitar stores has had a bass from them, used, for years with a nearly $8k price tag on it. It's just a big white blob, I don't get it.

I'm a big white blob and people don't get me either.
