Winter Build Off 2023 - Let Your Nerd Flag Fly

I'm afraid my build simply isn't done. I've had some things come up that kept me from getting any further work done, but I do intend to finish the build eventually! Looking forward to seeing everyone's entries!

We're getting close! In previous build offs, I've been able to pre-draft the voting threads in separate windows and then post them near simultaneously. For some reason I'm not able to do that on this particular combination of technology, so as of 9 minutes from now when voting closes, I'll post them up one after another, which will take a little longer. Thank you for your patience. :cigar:

I've said it before, I'll say it again. I get more enjoyment out of following (and occasionally participating in) the build offs here on TB than I ever have out of my over priced cable TV package :cool:

Well, the build off is fully wrapped up and the voting threads have come down from the sticky thread list at the top of the forum. Thanks again to all who participated or paid any passing attention to any part of it. :D

Next up will be the Summer Build Off starting Wednesday, June 21 - the first day of summer in the northern hemisphere. :thumbsup: I'll be putting up a Get Ready thread soon.

I've compiled a list of suggestions from TB for build-off themes and I'm soliciting more! If you have an idea for a theme, I'd like to hear it. Feel free to PM me or post publicly. :)

Thanks for running this Beej! It gave me more push to go extra in details on this build. This bass ended up having really nice bottom end with a ton of tonal options. The band and my spouse(bass owner)love the sonic profile it has so this little bass will be going on a mini tour in July on salt spring and vancouver island (brentwood bay music fest) :)
