I used to live in Santee, I'm totally digging the palm-tree.
Used to spend most of my time at Ocean Beach, there was a coffee shop that Jewel used to play at when she was getting started, my g/f at the time was a good friend of hers.
Wow love that inlay!Marking up the rough layout for the inlay on the fingerboard extension. In keeping with the “Coast of San Diego” inlay on the other bass, this one is getting a corresponding palm tree.

Glad to see that inlay coming along. If I remember correctly, making the inlay on the other twin was endlessly tedious.
I’m still wrecked by that trans reddish bass a couple pages back. Thought I had lost interest in wood grain trans basses. I was wrong. Freakin gorgeous.
