It’s always the thing you don’t expect that gets you. When I was a kid I spend an hour fooling around on my cousin’s skateboard on the broken concrete and didn’t get a scratch. Then went into the garage to put it away, tripped over the lawnmower, and face planted hard enough to earn a dozen stitches.

Shop reorg has come along nicely and I’m getting ready to resume work. All of my major sawdust-producing tools are now on wheels and can be rolled outside when in use. Only downside is that I’ll be weather dependent and we have rain coming all week long - but the plus side is a largely dust-free space. For a guy with allergies, it’s a win.
Still some organization work to do, but it’s much more usable and pleasant of a workspace now.
And the headstock materials setup is prepped as well.
Thanks Lisa. I need to continually remind myself how much my productivity and efficiency improve when I take the time to put things away as soon as I'm finished with them, preventing piles from stacking up on the workbenches, etc. The extra five minutes of cleanup might save a half hour of actual build progress. And with such limitations on my free time, every minute matters!

And now edge trimming and roundover on the router table.
I need to replace my roundover bit as the guide bearing fell apart on me before I could finish, so I’ve still got a few sections to address, but it’s coming together.
Marking up the rough layout for the inlay on the fingerboard extension. In keeping with the “Coast of San Diego” inlay on the other bass, this one is getting a corresponding palm tree. 
Scarf joint is squared up on the router jig.
