I'm really enjoying the creativity on the build designs this year, usually it gets lonely out in left field.
Yeah, and I'm actually contemplating a third.What I find interesting and am really enjoying is that multiple people are considering doing 2 or more builds.

how do you mount a pickup in a resonator cone?
I suppose a 4-string resonator bridge is easy enough to make. I'd make it a short scale to keep the stresses similar to a guitar. Of course, the cone is tuned to a guitar, not a bass. This will be interesting to see.


What about a slotted headstock? It has that old-school, dobro style, and it's still a Gibson design keeping to your theme.
