I dunno, seems like it could use a bit more Gibson... <ducks for cover>
Yeah, like....where is the Moderne influence?

Yeah, like....where is the Moderne influence?

Telebacker 9001
Lambic White Rat Signature
And 2 suitcase parlour basses.
How are multiple builds treated with respect to build threads? Should it be one main thread for all builds by one person or one build thread for each build?
And the Corvus!...and the 20/20!Dammit!

Excellent, I'm so glad you are providing your time to cover the build of a Short scale 6 string Beatle bass!![]()
Do it @GeraldMcG !!!
*Wanders around Austin Hardwoods toying with second build concept...

Who's gonna clean up THAT mess?@Beej , now look at what you've done
Here is my plan: Total Gibson Mashup. 1. Les Paul Signature; semi hollow body (arched curly maple back, arched spruce or curly top with curly maple steam bent sides). 2. Thunderbird; 9 piece mahogany/walnut neck (through body) with 21 fret ebony fretboard (34"). 3. Dobro; 10 1/2" spider style resonator cone w/ Mississippi Voodoo coverplate. 4. Trini Lopez; Diamond shaped f-hole (one on the treble upper body bout)/split diamond inlays on fretboard. 5. Victory (Yes, Victory!); Headstock (modified). 6. Ripper; neck pickup. EB-0 Bridge pickup (this may change). 7. EB-2; pickguard (too much?
).
Hoffy Schnitzelblaster?!??I don't know where I will find the time to do three builds but what the heck.
Build one- Baltic birch plywood Rickenb*stard 330B short scale 4 string bass.
Build two-Guyadanelectrotone LG200B long scale 4 string bass
And...
Build three-The Hoffy Schnitzelblaster violin bass VI
The Hoffy needs a headstock like this instead of the traditional 2+2. Still a Hofner head but more Rock & Roll.View attachment 3252469 View attachment 3252471
Angled of course and maybe Baltic birch plywood.

This is a generic picture from the Google. The GFS Buyout body I have has no routes for the neck, pickups, or controls but I will probably keep the Hofner house style of two minibuckers and the silly little control plate.
Easily fixed with a simple mounting bracket.Needs more cowbell.
Hoffy Schnitzelblaster?!??
