I hope someone drops by Jens Ritter's booth to take pics. I'll never be able to afford one, but they're still fantastic bass p@rn.
I got a decent one yesterday of (IMO) the coolest looking one there. Pretty damn neat :)

In reference to the earlier question about string spacing on the Ibanez SRFF805, it looks like it will be 16.5 mm. The only difference in neck profle from the regular 805 is thickness at the 12th fret. The FF805 is 1.5 mm thicker. The width at last fret for both basses is 68 mm.

Sweetwater has the fanned fret 5'er for $999 with the HSC. Yum......

As does MF

More precisely, they have them on their websites. Looks like April before they "have" them. Look forward to seeing the actual bass

Thanks, Bob. A bit tighter than I would like on a 5er. Maybe a BTB FF is in the future. Love the neck on the BTB.

Heart just sank. The Adam Nitti signature is $6,999.99. To put this in perspective, a Fodera Standard Emperor 6 is $6,850.

Maybe Ibanez will create a budget version of the AND1006 bass.

I was recently as an Adam Nitti clinic and got to see the prototype up close and personal. He mentioned how this bass differs from the standard model... is it enough to justify a $7,000 price tag? Heck if I know...

Can someone get to the Roscoe booth?

Sadly, there ain't one. :hmm:

There is one at the Aguilar booth - LG Standard 5JM Ash/Trans White, Pau Ferro 'board, Aggie AG-5M + 5J-HC & OBP-3 preamp (NAMM show one-of-a-kind); and one at the Bartolini booth - Century Standard Plus 5JB-HL Flame Maple/Ash, Charcoalburst finish, Bird's Eye Maple 'board, Bart J's in the "JB" locations & NTMB-F preamp, HEADLESS neck painted black.

Ibanez Fanned Fretted 5'er seems to be retailing at $1,179.99 Canadian ([Invalid or Expired Link Removed]), and the 6'er is $1,249.99 ([Invalid or Expired Link Removed]).

I must say that I'm glad I didn't go ahead and order an SR1806... I was going stir-crazy a few weeks ago, but I'm sure I would have regretted it. Not looking forward to waiting until April though.

Nice bass but really expensive for a non NA/Europe made bass IMO.

Likely super limited edition, limited run, etc., but I don't even think many new limited run GEM or Satriani would be that much. I could be wrong.
