Wow the green one is really sweet.
 
I wonder... why Fender refuses to come out with a Mexican "Classic '60" Precision Bass (alder body, rosewood fretboard). There is a classic '50 Precision (maple neck), and a classic '70 Precision (maple neck B&B). There is a classic '60 Jazz Bass (alder/rosewood), a classic '70, and for the guitars there are also classic '50, '60 & '70 models. Only the '60 P bass, a truly iconic model, is missing.

Digging the tone of these! Okoume!



It's so nice to hear such a great tone and a modern slant on a J bass from Fender. It's also very sweet to see a 34" scale 5 string with a great sounding low B. The whole "gotta have a 35 scale" for a tight low B is just fantasy. A good stable and stiff neck is what's needed not a longer scale length.
