How many pieces is the neck?

I'd imagine it's two piece at least, as they need to get the truss rod in during production.

I was reading the specs of these on the EBMM site and I'm very interested. It has all the bits I like - 2 band eq, poly gloss neck (the EBMM ones aren't sticky at all, but glass like), and I love sound of the single H Ray NT in the video on the NT Stingray thread. Only thing missing is bridge mutes and through body stringing, but hey, you can't have everything!

An ibanez p/J in 5 or 6 is on my list for this year

Heart just sank. The Adam Nitti signature is $6,999.99. To put this in perspective, a Fodera Standard Emperor 6 is $6,850.

Is Modulus back? I think not. I think it's just the Planet Bass booth, and he still has some Modulus basses left in stock.

Was the P/J a 5? I thought it was a 4. The 5 was a J/J, wasn't it?

Oops! You are right. The similarity in tone fooled me. I should have looked closer. On critical examination I note the P/J does have a slightly different (somehow more aggressive) tone. I guess it's back on Fender's case about a PJ 5er.
