Winter NAMM 2019 (ultra Pic-heavy)

I’ve had roughly 35-45 high end basses front he beat builders you can find such as MTD, Benavente, Warrior, Roscoe, STR, Custom Bacchus, Ristola, Lakeland and more and nothing has the total package his basses have. I have a friend who is professional musician and owns $12-14,000 custom Foderas and he said “these Devon’s are equal and beat his Foderas at every level”. Sold his 2 of mine and ordered me 2 Custom Devon’s being built right now. These are crazy good basses.

As you well know, I have three of them. Unbeatable features for the value. Superb concept, workmanship, and execution.

Can you take a pic of that gnarly looking relic?

And to those of you who may wonder....YES, all NAMM pictures are welcome here. The more the merrier.

Alrighty then. Greatly missing seeing all youse guys this year, but luckily I've been able to follow a lot of live streaming from my friend Marco Cortes' booth today. So I've heard a bunch of prototype stuff I built getting played, which is a good bit of consolation. I know you'll do a thorough job when you get to the Marco Bass booth, but here's a pre-doors shot from this morning:

Fender booth? On the Anderton's video that's gone on YouTube they mentioned a new bass model (something with a Tele bass headstock...) but didn't show it because they're guitarists and barely showed any bass stuff...

Abwello bass or something? (that's how they pronounced it...couldn't read anything...

New classic vibe/vintage modified stuff as well...

(26:10-26:30...bloody useless arses...)

Any new models/designs would be good really

OMG teasing us so much. I was devastated when there were no basses in the MIM parallel universe range. Hopefully we still get something good.

I was really impressed with them two years ago when he shared a booth with my friends at Regenerate/Honey Badger.

NAMM officially starts tomorrow, but I came a day early to visit my niece and nephew, and then hang out with a bunch of bassers at Downtown Disney. Thanks again to @Andy Brown and @TonyP- for helping to get into NAMM this year.

The evening started with me trying to keep up with the kids playing Just Dance on the Nintendo Switch. I got so sweaty, I had to go back to my room and clean up before I could hit the Uva Bar.

Aww man, @wintremute I didn't even think about who else might be there at the Uva bar hang and a talkbass regular. But it was a great hangout meeting Jim, Joe, Charley and just sitting at the table listening in on the great conversations. I'll be at the Tsunami Bass Hang both tonight and Friday, say hi!

regarding the Stingray shorties. This is a pic I got from Sweetwater. The shorties appear to be the blue and burgundy ones, as they appear to be shorter than the Bongos. These appear to be the 2 finish options, as mentioned on the EBMM site.

and, although I'm over Bongos, and wouldn't be able to rock a purple sparkle one, that finish is very sharp.
