With/Without Scratchplate??

Sup dudes

Was messing around with my 77 and decided to take the scratchplate off:hmm:, but now i can't decide if it looks better on or off. Its a 50-50 split with my friends.

Was just curious about what the TB'ers think...

Thanks

...or try an all black guard - I think the white layer distracts slightly.

There's too much 'overspray' of black for me to have that one guard off.

Whatever way you chose it's a nice looking bass!

I'm a huge tort fan and have to agree it would look fantastic. However, with the white blocks I think a white pearl would be a great look.

And like others said, going "naked" exposes the flaw on the lower horn so I'd say you need a guard on it to cover that up.
