This is just another piece of ridiculous sensationalism. She was seated next to two individuals who acted suspiciously. When traveling together, groups of people often purchase seats together, so it is reasonable to suspect she was involved with these other two gentlemen.
As Munji asked - what if those other two men HAD been up to no good? How do we know they were not two yahoos who wanted to mark the tenth anniversary in their own special way? Would her hour of detainment have been such an ordeal? Would everyone still be playing the race card? No, we'd be waving little flags, exclaiming what a great place this is. Yay! We're safe!
The alternative is to purposefully ignore ALL suspicious behavior if it is done by anyone with pigment in their skin. After all, it is just racial profiling, anyway.
