It is still listed in the FS International boards, but the listing was pulled from the standard FS forum. Maybe he decided it was a pain to ship to US. Either way, it was a mega steal at 2k

Yeah, seemed like a good deal... I just have zero experience with them so I had no idea what to expect other than all of the "European Fodera" stuff which didn't exactly narrow anything down for me. Same reason I haven't pulled the trigger on a couple of STR basses, aka "Japanese Foderas".

I agree. As seemingly specific as that term (Fodera-ish or European Fodera) sounds, it really doesn't say much about what something is. I use the term when talking to other players for lack of a better one, and my W&T is quite different from a Fodera in its own unique way, but I suppose it's more similar than different in the larger picture.

They need to be in some of the boutique bass shops scattered around the country for people to check out. I know he's been working on that.

Hey folks, I just released a record that features both of my W&T's. the project is a duo with a flamenco guitarist, and I really like the way the tone of the W&T's came across on the record. I've since swapped the pre on my solid body from the East SP2 to a Mo West/Alien audio preamp. the last tune on the record has the alien pre, FWIW. enjoy~
