WOW, I've not seen such a debate over a table saw in quite some time. Technically, I guess a table saw is not necessary to build guitars/basses... me personal, I love mine and find it invaluable. I use it everyday, for things such as: cutting down sheet goods to make templates, making jigs, breaking down billets to more manageable sizes (along with a miter saw), and of course... making shop cabinets, workbenches, and other necessary shop furniture and organizational pieces. If you don't think you'll be getting a hybrid cabinet saw, consider building a table saw cabinet for your Bosch,
like any of these.
I think Grizzly is a good way to go.
I say a drum sander is a must, building one is not difficult and a whole lot cheaper (I built the one I have) there's a bunch of info on the web, I'll point out two,
1) , [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]. A conveyor belt sure is nice though. lastly on this, every open ended drum sander I've used, or lets say been associated with, tends to sag on the open side.
Finally, My Harbor Freight workbench up grade (quick version). First I bought some 14" full extension slides. Then I removed the drawers and the cheep MDF pieces the slides were attached to. Built a open face box with a divider that fit on the bottom shelf. put it together... much better.
All the best.
