Worlds First Drum Machine in Pedal Form!

Oh, and the other day I ordered this:
[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

I'm not clear on the availability, but it appeared to be in stock when I ordered it. Instead of $10+shipping like the link earlier in the thread, it is under $7, and if you also Google "Brook Mays" coupon, I found a functional coupon code for free shipping.

Hey David, really dumb question---are we going to have a way to pick the size of our T-shirt? (I'm already in, I didn't see this option at any point.)

Yes, we will have at least S, M and L -- we'll see how many other sizes we have requested to see what else we can offer.

THANK ALL YOU GUYS!!!! You made the BeatBuddy a HUGE success!!!

We're working super hard now to get this to you all ASAP.

I wonder if they even come in 3XL. (Not proud of it, but I'd be a 2XL even if I was at a proper weight.)

Congrats on the very well-deserved success!

Take note pedal builders: This is proof that listening to your customers works!!

Agreed. At least one major improvement was made to the product (MIDI control) that I believe can be attributed to this thread right here.

Side note: who are the 5 people who willingly chose not to get the best price? As I type this there are still 79 of the cheapest options (Earliest Buddy) available @ $179. But 3 people bought it at $199 and 2 people at $219 with no apparent benefit. (And I'm not counting the 2 people who bought it at $399 with the promise of getting theirs first.)

...who are the 5 people who willingly chose not to get the best price?

Might not have been 'willingly'...
I found the signup page to be fairly confusing at first glance, and clicked something besides 'Earliest' first. (In a bit of a rush to get in before the 'Earliest' sold out...) I did discover that wasn't what I wanted and changed it, and saw verification of my change.

I went back now, without the rush, and I still think it's confusing...
(We have established that I am new to the crowdfunding presentation... I am supposed to know that 'Pick Your Perk' means "here are the individual items available for purchase..." except that yes, I know, technically it's not an actual purchase, it's a donation with the promise of a reward.)

I couldn't tell if stuff was being bundled (one section kinda seemed like it to me) or what...

Anyway - I can easily see how someone mistakenly selected the wrong option and then didn't notice it at checkout time.

I don't know why those items (like the 'Earlier' selection) are available although sure - you can pledge as much as you want. I think it would have been clearer to simply have the 'best price available at this time' option enabled and make it possible to pledge any additional amount as a separate line item. But I expect that approach requires a lot more processing that the site might not be able to accommodate.

The mere fact that all options are available is a little bit confusing, I suppose, but as long as you take your time, it's not that confusing. The earliest/cheapest option was always at the top for me. Oh well, as you said, maybe they were confused, maybe they wanted to donate a little extra, and no matter what, they're getting a good price compared to the eventual retail price.
