Worlds First Drum Machine in Pedal Form!

Agreed. At least one major improvement was made to the product (MIDI control) that I believe can be attributed to this thread right here.

You are completely correct! I would not have thought to include MIDI control if it wasn't for you guys. Thanks!!!

Greg there are still 6 left at $179, the best price, and 2000 left at $199.

BECAUSE YOU NEED TO BE TALKED INTO PEDALS.

Pedal Breeders Big Board Club #1 and he needs to be talked into pedals? LOL

Offhand, I'm VERY interested in this pedal. I write and record at home with fairly modest equiptment and have used my Alesis SR 16 drum machine. The beats I've used have been useful, but programming that thing takes forever. So all I wound up using is just the same beat with no fills or anything thru the entire song "just to get the idea across." It works, but it's not very exciting to put it mildly.

I'm going to wait a few, read what users have to say about it and take it from there. If all seems well then I'll further check into it sometime in the new year.

But it really looks like a good thing, David. I hope it all goes well for you.

David, one thing missing from most current drum machines is a good swing beat or shuffle that might be used in Americana, country or Texas swing (ie Bob Wills or Asleep at the Wheel)

Or jazz! What would be off the chart cool is giving the ability to vary the amount of swing. To totally rule you could randomise the amount of swing within a selectable range, more natural.

Yes, we will have at least S, M and L -- we'll see how many other sizes we have requested to see what else we can offer.

THANK ALL YOU GUYS!!!! You made the BeatBuddy a HUGE success!!!

We're working super hard now to get this to you all ASAP.

Hey David, a good ratio to use would be 2:3:4:3:1 (S:M:L:XL:XXL)

I myself would take an XL.

Thanks! I added it to our requested styles list.

Thanks Mike! Glad you like the idea of the BeatBuddy! We'll be at NAMM -- so you can stop by and try it out!

We'll do a survey after the campaign ends to get everyone's size -- and we'll work according to that. I'm sure I'll be able to get you an XL -- you deserve it!

The way we're working it is we're recording a real drummer and not quantizing the beats -- so it maintains the natural feel -- because that's exactly how the drummer played it.
