I do like Peter Hook on the Joy Division stuff, i mentioned all the songs i like by them in the bassists 'Peter Hook' thread

I think you somewhat over rate him Fassa and indeed his gear.

wow man where do guys get all those exotics from?? here in india we get nothin other than ibanez washburn fender squire yamaha BC rich (really ugly), i had to beg my friend to get me a schecter while he was on a trip to the states, and he got an elite 5 which i found really ugly but i loved playing on it... i just love the feel of a schecter... now the question was where do u get all these exotics? what do they costs? are they any good in the sound dept.?

For looks alone, there's something very appealing to me about these Series II Status basses.

Maybe it's because it was the first bass to ever give me GAS (back in 1985 ).

Can't say I like playing them as much as looking at them, though .

I've always thought the simplicity of this one is what makes it attractive-it still has the appealing aesthetics of an Alembic without being overdone.

Beautiful? I think so.
