I've owned two DG pedals and never used the feet.

I always remove the rubber feet when I add Velcro.

That is what I did. Just don't cover up the serial number! VBG!

I see a few Darkglass compressors on here, including @Colton 's above. I'm currently running a Markbass Compressore which has a tube and requires a 12v power supply. It would be nice to be all 9v. So I went and read the Ovnilab review, and it looks like a good replacement for the Markbass as it says "the DG has a fatter warmer sound" and he'd "recommend the Darkglass most to someone who was considering a tube compressor for its warmth or "vintage sound", but not wanting to use an uncommon power supply." Well, that's me. So I guess this would be a good replacement ...

On another note, I'm a light overdrive guy, and like my DG VMT. Does the Alpha Omega do a good light overdrive?

I do, I use the B3k. The darkglass has a familiar flavor that's in most of their od/distortions /fuzz pedals but they're distinct enough to t justify having each.

I did take the feet off use velcro.

And here's a shot of the weekend rig, running into my ABM-500 and 2x12

I'm still playing with it. It seems to be really heavy so I'm running the drive about 10-11 oclock.

I've tried a bunch of different compressors and the one that sounded best to me was the Darkglass. I have experimented with the compressor on the Eventide H9 and I am sticking with the Darkglass. I'm also using the VMTD and I crank up the drive to about 11 o'clock and almost always have it on.

I'm working on using midi to control the H9 (I'm a midiot, so it is going slowly) but my signal chain is currently - TurboTuner, Super Symmetry, VMTD, H9, Factotum, Wonderlove. Once I get the midi figured out, I am going to experiment with a Sonic Maximizer - I used one in the past and it seemed to make the sound a bit clearer without messing up the sound.

How/when are people using octave pedals in a worship setting? I have one, and I've noted that it seems pretty common place on these boards, but I'm struggling to find a good use for it.

I've only used one before I picked up my 5 string, on the secular Katy Perry song Roar. I expect there are times one could still use one with a 5 though, not sure, as I haven't had the opportunity (yet) ...

I do play a 5, which is why I got the TC Sub 'n Up. It has the up and sub octave options. (actually two sub options, but if I used the 2nd sub my roof would fall in). I don't consider myself good enough to play only high up on the fretboard so I could engage a sub-only octave pedal, without getting lost. But I'm still not entirely sure when or why I would use it in a worship setting. Maybe for some mellow pads? Or some synthy sounds? Either way, it's fun to play with.

Pretty! So you have an octave and a meat box. How, out of curiosity, are you using those in a worship setting?

Basically I use the Octabvre (or OC-2) as my basic synth patch, for Oberheim type lines. I don't have any good recordings of myself, but for example Elevation's "Overcome." That's with the lower octave soloed, and I love that tone. Sometimes I'll dial in the dry for Stevie Wonder style bass lines, but not too often.

The Meatbox gets used for long notes, often during breakdown choruses. I'm going for cathedral pipe organ foot pedal sounds. For example, on Leland's The Lion And The Lamb, the first chorus breaks down, great time for some Meatbox thunder.
