Scuba maybe you can answer this...I love the Markbass compressor and regret ever getting rid of it. Is there any reason I can't seem to find one them new anywhere?

They can usually be found on GC Used (well, not today), but you might as well take the leap and go with the LA-1A

There are several used and one new v2 on Reverb.

It's a lot of money for a pedal, but it is that good. My drummer was talking about it again last night. He said he wouldn't tell me it was that good unless it was that good.

Sorry if this has been asked but should I use my compressor pedal during a worship service even though it's being compressed by the sound guy? Advantage and disadvantages?

I cannot be certain, but I know he said he has a gate and a compressor on at the board. I got a new power supply that is real quiet so he said the gate was now off. He didn't feel that my compressor pedal was necessary for playing live at church though. I have a hyper luminal.

I would add that the LA-1A makes it feel different when I play. There's a different response. You don't get that from the compressor at the board. I don't think our guy has a lot of effects on me/us. When I used the LA-1A the difference was huge.

I'd sent you a pm with the link for the one in classifieds. Also a link to a used v1 Compressore on Reverb. Aesthetically (dust wise) I preferred the v2 (easier to dust/clean), but they work the same.

The Collaboration Devices compressor is terribly noisy. Patrick is working on a new circuit to address the issue.

Hey guys!!! If anybody might be interested in a cool looking pedal for their worship board, I have a looper pedal for sale. It is a looper that simply "loops" pedals together in a chain. I had it custom made for me, but I am not able to play in a band now, and this looper has never been used. You can hook up multiple pedals in each channel, or just hook up one per channel. That way, you would only stomp on the looper pedal, and save all your other pedals.

I ordered it on Sunday and had it Wednesday. I don't go gaga over many things and I only "fanboy" when it's the real deal. I will fanboy Roscoe basses, Genzler amps and the Effectrode LA-1A.

Ya I had the v1 a few years ago..i would have no problem getting it again I just enjoy the simple look of the v2
