Same here. But I’m also curious how they’ll sound stacked with the VT set more like an overdrive. Options option options!
I finally found a Pedaltrain Metro 20 with hard-case here on TB, so I've paused my homemade project. Maddeningly though it was supposed arrive by USPS yesterday, but the last update on their tracking site was from 5 days ago.
As a carrier, if you have a tracking number, call your local Post office... give them the number. They can give you more information than the tracking site.
Also, understand that this time of year, we're absolutely swamped. It could be one of 100 reasons as to why shipment seems slow. And the closer you are to a bigger city, that doubles, sometimes triples

As long as you have the tracking number, it doesn't matter which state it's in. Once they type in the number, it'll pop up. Unless the package just magically disappeared, they'll be able to tell you where it's at.... now, do keep in mind that if when you looked it up on the site, if it says ... "left location..X... or "in transit"..
That just means it's on a tractor trailer en route to the next sorting facility...
The weird spot I live and work out of, there's a sorting facility an hour and half away in Atlanta... but I've had stuff go to Alabama and then to Nashville or Knoxville, then to Atlanta before coming to the office I work for...

My pedalboard is, at last, finally incomplete:
Boss AW-3 has been replaced with a very very nice Crazy Tube Circuits Cyclone phaser. Got it on the LoveTone setting, really sounds immense (although it only arrived this morning, haven´t really dialled it in). Controls are Mix, Feed, Depth and Speed, and then a 4-way rotary switch to select the circuit board of 4 classic phasers: MXR Phase 45, MXR Phase 90, EHX Small Stone, and LoveTone Doppelgänger. It´s soooo good! Much more usable sound than the AW-3, and no low end loss; in fact, with the mix maxed I think it actually goes too far and introduces a volume boost!
All most pleasant. I´ve spent most of the afternoon in lectures online, with the camera off, playing Thin Lizzy

Ohhhhh, you may have just helped me find another phaser to add to the collection. I have an Earthquaker Devices Grand Orbiter v3 and it's fantastic, but I've been looking for one with a tap feature and a blend.
Always ready to help. I looked at the EQD phaser, but the Cyclone had more of what I wanted, and it´s cheaper too
. Plus, who doesn´t want a pedal handmade in Athens?Peace,

I'm using a HX Stomp and have my switcher presets set to a couple of presets I bought. One is "Blake Bass" ($5!) and I use it as he made it AND a version where I added in an envelope filter for fun. The other presets are in the "Nashville Bass Pack for HX STOMP by Steve Cook." I think spending $25 for great presets is a deal!

Except you don't know that they are great or junk for you until you've spent the money.
I haven’t dove into purchasing presets, but have looked into just a little bit. Where are the best spots to look? Can you list a few links?
They can’t be any worse than some of the presets I’ve heard from the factory on effects or synths or things like that.
I have purchased guitar patches for my FM3 from Freeman and Glen D as well as worship tutorials. I don't know about the first two but I am certain that worship tutorials has patches for the Helix. WT’s are well written and reasonable cost. They also have song specific patches which is pretty cool. for the most part every patch I have purchased has been better than the stock patches. For my bass patches I just follow a couple basic formulas. I don't know of very.many bass specific patches for the FM 3 at least.
Santa show up early. I trade my MS3 (my guitar player harass me for a couple of months). MS3 is a great unit but it was not appropriate for what i do with it. GT1b is in now, so far like it a lot. I will use it next Sunday @ service.
I use Adam Kiser (Bethel Music)'s preset on the HX Stomp as my backup rig.

Welp, after much deliberation and diddle-dinking around, the SFT has been pulled in favor of the 5F6. Got pretty much everything on the board sounding better, even the Pork & Pickle, for which I finally found a fuzz tone I enjoyed. The weird thing is this has me eyeing the Doom2 for the chopping block, as I would really only use it with the C4 for synth fuzz, and the Pork & Pickle can fill that gap. Hard to justify keeping the pedal on the board for just one sound that something else does almost as well (Haven't even dug into the dirt on the C4 yet).
Which, of course, raises the question...what would replace it? Decisions, decisions.
