This pedal gets a lot of love! How quickly can you adjust it? Can you lean over and do a quick adjustment between songs or during an interlude?
Now that I think about it, some of these pedals seem more expensive because it's probably been 15 years since I've put together a board. But, I guess that's what they are going for now-a-days.
You can navigate it fairly quickly, or you could have up to 10 EQ curves you can switch between. It also has an adjustable HPF.
Plus it's a tuner! That would save some space on the board for more pedals. I've been keeping an eye on it, and I'm going to research it more.
I don't have my stuff on a board, but I did get a little Korg tuner (to free up my 3rd footswitch) so I can use the IMA presets on my church Stomp. That'll be nice.
Any chance this Bryce Vaughn is in here? Would love to see his board. Amazing player with great tone.

the Darkglass distortion pedals are pretty intense full on but they layer really well with other effects using the blend to add some hair to your tone.
I could use some experienced advice on my bass signal processing. I play in a large church with a high end system seating about 1200 people using IEMs. We play all the typical contemporary full band worship songs, going from light contemplative to full band locked in kick/bass. I play either a passive Fender custom shop Precision or an active Sadowsky 5 string jazz, both with steel strings. My signal chain has been no effects going into a Neve RNDI. Generally, I have been happy with my bass tone in the mix in our IEMs. But.....
I'm looking to start adding some processing/effects mostly to get some drive and aggressive tone for some of the bigger songs. The idea of some light chorus on some song sections sounds interesting, as well. But I don't want to get into the complex pedal board construction and growth.
I own a Peterson tuner and RNDI. I recently purchased a Broughton SV-Pre, Keeley Comp Pro and a Khan VTDI. Looking at buying a DCX Bass or a HX Stomp.
Here are some options I'd appreciate advice on.
Option1: Peterson tuner, DCX Bass, Keeley Compressor Pro into a Khan VTDI. I'm thinking the DCX may give me pretty much what I need for tone shaping and drive. Set it and forget it always on simplicity.
Option 2: HX Stomp into the Khan VTDI. This would be a simple set-up and I may enjoy being able fiddle with presets without having to invest in more and more pedals.
(Amazon currently has the Stomp and Stomp XL at the same price.)
Other options or advice appreciated.

I've played in similar environments for years.
Personally I would (and do) go with Option 1. Tuner > DCX > Comp > VTDI is an amazing combo. My signal chain is a little more complex that that, and I might suggest you add an additional gain stage, EQ, and a CabSim, but it's not 100% necessary... What you have will work well!
I've tried the HX Stomp over and over again & I just don't jive with it.
Option 2 + a two-button FSW for a little additional Stomp functionality.
There are other footswitch options too. Handles everything I've asked of it on a Sunday morning.
Option 1 gets my vote because it sounds like you are mostly looking for drive and tone-shaping; it will give you that as well as the simplicity you mention. I say this as someone who uses a Peterson tuner, DCX Bass, and Khan VTDI so I've put my money where my mouth is, as it were.

I think first, you should decide if you prefer analog or digital processing, or both.
I would go with option 1 but add an octave or micro synth pedal. An octave pedal is one of the most useful pedals to have for worship after a tuner and compressor in my opinion.
Also, I find either a cabsim or aggressive hpf like the thumpinator to be a huge improvement going into a usually very sub-y church PA's with a volunteer running the board.
I read this a lot on TB in a worship context. I have an octave pedal I use for synth bass sounds, but I don't see much use for it beyond that. Am I alone in that? How are you all using octave pedals outside of a synth context?
